This fun and challenging class will build balance, strength and endurance. It begins with a Pranayama exercise, warm up series, standing asanas including Surya Namaskar, a cool down mat sequence, savasana and finally 3 Om’s to complete the practice. Cues are provided to safely flow in and out of the asanas while offering a quiet space to check in with your body, focus your drishtis and observe your thoughts. You will be encouraged to play with the pose, challenge your own limitations and have self inquiry about what feels best for you in the moment. You’re going to be a little sweaty during class and, if new to Hatha Power Flow Yoga, a little sore afterwards as you develop the ability to articulate your own body. As you leave your mat you’ll be feeling centred, confident and energized taking this calmness with you for the rest of your day.
