Yoga Recommended Reading List

All the books on the Yoga Recommended Reading List below are books that I have found inspiring and/or informative. You are in no way expected to read all of these yoga books from front to back within the duration of the course. We will be reading excerpts from many of these books during our classroom hours and they have all provided inspiration for the Feel Good Yoga Teacher Training manuals.

I have placed a star at the end of the books that are a little more accessible. Many of the books below might feel a little bit heavy for someone just embarking on a philosophical exploration of yoga. It may be advisable to first try to obtain these books at the library and make sure that you are ready for them before purchasing them from a bookstore. Although I do not doubt that they will be useful for you at some point in your yoga career, some may be more useful after you have received the benefit of further classroom instruction and experience.
